GREEN ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS

Privacy Policy

1. Who handles your information

Makombisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd, trading as Green Engineering Solutions (GES), is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email info@gesolutions.co.za or call +27 81 382 7969. Contact address: 11 Joan End, Carlswald, Midrand, 1685, South Africa.

2. Information collected

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, enquiry type and message, plus your phone number and company if you choose to provide them. Subsequent correspondence may include information needed to understand your project. Our hosting provider may keep technical access and security logs, such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and access times.

3. Why it is used

We use enquiry details to respond to you, understand your requirements, prepare requested proposals and manage related correspondence. Technical information supports website operation, security and abuse prevention. We process information with your consent where applicable, for requested pre-contract steps or service delivery, and where otherwise permitted by law. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.

4. Email, sessions and cookies

Enquiries are emailed to our team. The form temporarily uses a server session to validate submissions, prevent duplicate messages and preserve entered details if validation fails. The website uses an essential session cookie for this purpose. Blocking it may prevent the form from working; you can still email or call us. This website package does not include advertising cookies, visitor analytics or tracking pixels.

5. Sharing and external services

Our hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the site and deliver enquiries. Project information may be shared with relevant specialist partners where needed for a requested service, subject to appropriate arrangements. We do not sell enquiry details. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. Some service providers may process information outside South Africa; applicable safeguards are required for such processing. Opening Google Maps or your email application is subject to that provider’s own privacy practices.

6. Retention and security

We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the relationship and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or de-identified. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information; internet transmission and email cannot be guaranteed secure. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through this form.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information or deletion where appropriate. You may withdraw consent or object to processing where those rights apply. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing, and some records may need to be retained by law. Email us with your request; we may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also raise a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator.

8. Changes and legal framework

We may update this policy as the website or our services change. The current version and update date appear on this page. The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) provides the South African framework for protecting personal information.
